Selection of a surgeon for your blepharoplasty is an important decision. We perform eyelid surgery measurements everyday and safety is of utmost importance in our practice. This patient had upper eyelid blepharoplasty performed by a San Diego plastic surgeon with a large Instagram following but is not an eyelid specialist. The plastic surgeon removed too much skin and muscle from her upper eyelids resulting in an inability to close the eyes. Dr. Iyengar was able to help her eyelid closure through the use of hyaluronic acid fillers.
