Your Consultation
During your consultation, Dr. Iyengar will take time to understand your goals and evaluate the areas you wish to treat. He will discuss your medical history, assess your facial structure, and recommend whether Belotero is the right option for you. This visit is also your opportunity to ask questions about the treatment process, recovery, and expected results. By the end of your consultation, you will have a personalized treatment plan designed for safe, natural-looking outcomes.
What to Expect During Your Treatment
Belotero treatments are performed in-office and typically take less than an hour. After the treatment areas are cleaned, a topical numbing cream may be applied to enhance comfort. Using either a fine needle or a blunt cannula for added safety, Dr. Iyengar carefully places the filler beneath the skin. Patients often notice improvement immediately, with results continuing to refine as the filler integrates naturally into the tissue.
Recovering After Belotero Treatment
Most patients experience little to no downtime following Belotero injections. Mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site is common but temporary, usually resolving within a few days. It is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and pressing on the treated areas for the first 24 hours. Makeup can typically be applied the next day, and results are both subtle and immediate. Depending on the individual and treatment area, Belotero can last from 6 to 12 months.
