I'd do it all over again if I had to, but it was so perfect the first time, I won't need to! Thumbs up for this talented Doctor and his wonderful staff.

Srinivas Iyengar is a fantastic Surgeon. I have had droopy eyelids my entire life. At age 73, finally tiring of my friends asking me to open my eyes for photos I decided to research my alternatives. My wife had her eyelids done several years ago and did not like her surgeon at all. Years after her procedure you can still see stitches when she closes her eyes. So I called my Ophthalmologist for a recommendation to an eyelid specialist. They sent me to San Diego Eyelid Specialists and Dr. Iyengar. A Preliminary appointment was made after I had a peripheral vision test. The test confirmed my problem and the Ophthalmologist told me that my vision was so impaired that Medicare would pay for it. I was delighted to hear that. The office is spotless, the staff efficient and courteous and Dr. Iyengar is a hoot. I was never uncomfortable and he has an amazing calming influence on the entire experience. My recovery was easy and took place in just a few days. My wife could not believe how tight and precise the stitching was. With attention to detail... the swelling and discoloration was minimized. I couldn't believe how easy it was... and....I couldn't believe that rooms now had ceilings I could see 🙂 I cannot recommend a health care professional any higher.

Dr. Iyengar treated me for a chalazion. I appreciated his conservative treatment approach — no rush to put me under the knife. My chalazion was stubborn, eventually requiring treatment with injection, and then with surgery. His office staff is terrific - nurse Stephanie is wonderful, and the front office staff is great as well.

Dr. Iyengar is beyond fantastic. He performed two surgeries with excellent results. He is kind and explains the procedures in great detail making sure that I felt very comfortable. He was recommended to me by my Ophthalmologist and she was very pleased with the results.

Dr Iyengar is amazing. He did a fantastic job on my eyes. I can finally see. I feel like I have a whole new life.

I struggled, for about 2+ years, in keeping my right eye open and as the day would wear on, it would simply stay closed. Several months ago, I was referred to Dr. Iyengar by my ophthalmologist. I needed surgery to correct my dropping eyelid (ptosis). The surgery of the muscle in my eyelid was a great success!!! Dr. Iyengar is a caring and skilled surgeon and you'd never know I had an eyelid problem! The office staff and surgery center staff were very friendly, supportive and professional! I felt confident in the care I received.

Dr. Iyengar is always covering every detail and doing the best job possible. He is always prompt and takes all the time I need. All good.

Dr. Iyengar is wonderful! I had a horrible watering eye and put up with it for over a year until he diagnosed my issue. He performed the surgery, which he made as comfortable as possible and told me it was a 90% percent success rate. He met me before hours a few days later to remove the stitches. My eye has not watered since! His staff is also top notch. Definitely recommend!

I was recommended to Dr Iyengar by the Morris Eye Group after my annual exam there showed that I had both drooping eyelids and a suspicious growth on one of them. He was able to remove the growth and repair my eyelids back to normal. Dr Iyengar and his staff are very professional, caring and nice people, and they gladly answered any and all of my questions, even when I would call outside of appointment times. Highly recommended!
