This nice woman had lower eyelid blepharoplasty performed by a San Diego plastic surgeon who is not an eyelid specialist but has a large social media presence. She was disappointed with the outcome and came to see Dr. Iyengar for revisional eyelid surgery. There are three lower fat pads in the lower eyelid that generally cause the lower eyelid bags. The original eyelid surgery was performed with an incision under the eyelashes which cut through the orbicularis and the reason her left lower eyelid pulls down. Dr. Iyengar was able to fix her suboptimal result using a scarless approach from the inside of the eyelid.
