I trusted my face to the extremely capable hands of Dr Iyengar this Spring & had upper eyelid surgery under local anesthesia. I had two enormous black eyes for over a month but am so thrilled with how my eyes look post recovery. The eyelid hoods are gone & I look happy & rested; not like I’ve had cosmetic surgery. The staff couldn’t have been any nicer, which is wonderful, but the most important factor is the results. A friend was recently studying my face & kept saying I was looking really well but she couldn’t pinpoint what exactly made her think that, which is exactly the result I was hoping for.

Surgery was painless and perfect as you can get, very impressed, and vision + field of view immensely improved. I had virtually no bruising after both uppers done. Highly recommended

Needed a large cyst removed from my eyelid/corner of eye, as we were coming out of COVID lockdown. They squeezed me into their busy schedule, and now there's not even a scar! Couldn't be happier with the staff or Dr. Iyengar!

Dr. Iyengar is an amazing surgeon! HIGHLY skilled and CARING. He closed a LARGE excision of an early melanoma on my cheek adjacent to my right eye. IMO, a miracle!

Dr. Iyengar was amazing! My procedure was fast, efficient, and very effective making such an improvement for my field of vision. His staff was attentive and friendly and everyone made sure all my questions were adequately answered. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Iyengar and his staff deserve a 5 Star rating, from initial consultation all the way through to post-surgery follow-up. He performed upper eyelid lifts and a procedure to repair a very droopy eyelid. The surgeries were done at the same time, and both went flawlessly. I can't recommend him highly enough. He even lets you choose what music to listen to during surgery, which I found very comforting and relaxing. 80s Alternative, of course 🙂

Dr Iyengar botched up my upper eyelid surgery that was supposed to correct my hooded eyes. $4,500.00 later with pain and recovery time. Zero stars for this surgeon! So, I went to La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Center and the second the surgeon saw me he said, "You could benefit from an upper eyelid surgery to remove the fat and skin to improve the appearance of your hooded eyelids." I explained that I just had surgery by Dr. Iyengar !!! Zero stars for Dr. Iyengar at San Diego Eyelid Specialists !!!

I look like myself again! This is how I looked ten years ago. I can’t say enough good things about what an incredible doctor and artist Dr. Iyengar is. I felt so relaxed throughout the process knowing I was in the very best hands. I got my lower eyelids done and by the eight day recheck pretty much all the swelling was gone. I never did bruise. Thank you Dr. Iyengar!

Dr Iyengar repaired my lower eyelid after a basal cell growth was removed. He always addressed my concerns promptly post-procedure. He is a confident and experienced professional. Thank you, Dr. Iyengar ! Diane Greene

I had upper eyelids surgery on JANUARY 11, 2021 DR. Iyengar did outstanding procedure on my upper eyelids in less than one hour , which improve my vision and changed my whole look. I had a very successful surgery and recovery . Dr. Iyengar is an excellent surgeon.
