The staff at San Diego Eyelid Specialist are true professionals. I want to be sure to thank Dr. Iyengar for treating my stepmother with compassion and made her feel comfortable through out her multiple visits. We were referred through her local eye doctor and could not have asked for a better specialist to help. My stepmother is over 80 years old and she had suffered from nerve damage possibly caused by Bell's Palsy and her eye was affected by the nerve that opens and closes the eye. Dr Iynegar recommended, and then performed a procedure to help with the healing. He was excellent at explaining exactly what he would be doing and the the follow up appointments. She is doing much better now and wanted to be sure that others read this review and at least get the appointment for a consultation with his office. The staff at San Diego Eyelid Specialists will certainly be professional and I hope you you have the pleasure of meeting with them.

Dr. Iyengar fixed the problem that I had with my eye. He was very professional and friendly. His staff does a great job.

My family and I are so grateful for dr. iyengar. i had ruptured my eye really bad and he spent 4 hours carefully stitching up my eye when it should have taken 2. I appreciate the extra time he took on my eye and he made it able to heal wonderfully. He pays full attention to detail and i fully recommend going to him. he’s a very polite doctor and very helpful.

The Dr. and his staff are so friendly and professional. Dr. Iyengar is a terrific Surgeon. I highly recommend him!

Srinivas Iyengar is a fantastic Surgeon. I have had droopy eyelids my entire life. At age 73, finally tiring of my friends asking me to open my eyes for photos I decided to research my alternatives. My wife had her eyelids done several years ago and did not like her surgeon at all. Years after her procedure you can still see stitches when she closes her eyes. So I called my Ophthalmologist for a recommendation to an eyelid specialist. They sent me to San Diego Eyelid Specialists and Dr. Iyengar. A Preliminary appointment was made after I had a peripheral vision test. The test confirmed my problem and the Ophthalmologist told me that my vision was so impaired that Medicare would pay for it. I was delighted to hear that. The office is spotless, the staff efficient and courteous and Dr. Iyengar is a hoot. I was never uncomfortable and he has an amazing calming influence on the entire experience. My recovery was easy and took place in just a few days. My wife could not believe how tight and precise the stitching was. With attention to detail... the swelling and discoloration was minimized. I couldn't believe how easy it was... and....I couldn't believe that rooms now had ceilings I could see 🙂 I cannot recommend a health care professional any higher.

Dr. Iyengar treated me for a chalazion. I appreciated his conservative treatment approach — no rush to put me under the knife. My chalazion was stubborn, eventually requiring treatment with injection, and then with surgery. His office staff is terrific - nurse Stephanie is wonderful, and the front office staff is great as well.

Dr. Iyengar is beyond fantastic. He performed two surgeries with excellent results. He is kind and explains the procedures in great detail making sure that I felt very comfortable. He was recommended to me by my Ophthalmologist and she was very pleased with the results.

Dr Iyengar is amazing. He did a fantastic job on my eyes. I can finally see. I feel like I have a whole new life.
