Wanted to take the time to say thank you so much for my eye surgery. Turned out better than expected. Confidence has gone up and not embarrassed about a left eye droop. The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Lyengar is so very nice and explains everything in detail, which for me was big. I will not hesitate to have ANY more cosmetic procedures done with San Diego Eyelud Specialist. I will refer anyone to you!!!! 💙💜💚❤️

I had some ingrown eyelashes on the rim of my eyelid that would grow into my eye. It was very uncomfortable, a constant scratching on my eye lens. I had put up with this for years, tweezing them once they were long enough, a real nuisance. Dr. Iyengar was able to permanently remove them, what a relief. Dr. Iyengar was great! Professional, personable and a talent in his specialty. His office staff was very helpful in dealing with my insurance company, who was being difficult. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Iyengar and his staff and would use them again without hesitation.

My eyes look so much better after the surgery. It was a simple easy procedure from my point of view. My lady friends were much impressed. I highly recommend you to anyone. Jim Friel

This is the first time I have ever written a review, I never have the time to do this, so I hopes this speaks to how highly I recommend Dr. Iyengar! He performed my upper eyelid surgery in November 2017. I could not be more happy with the results, I had very droopy eyelids, I could not wear eye makeup because it would end up all on my upper eyelid because of all the folds. I only wished I had found them and done it sooner. Every time I look in the mirror I am so happy to see the results. I have so many friends tell me I look a decade younger - and I feet it too. The Dr. and his whole staff are caring, knowledgeable and attentive. Totally would recommend them to anyone! Thank You Dr. Iyengar!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Iyengar. He is compassionate, thorough and very professional. The doctor performed upper and lower eyelid surgery and I am thrilled with the results. The office is readily accessible and I felt completely at ease. The doctor was patient and concerned that any question I may have be answered/explained. This is an easy recommendation.

Called last week to schedule an appt. and was seen the next day. Dr. Iyengar and his staff are professional and personable. Fortunately my eyelid "bump" was a simple steroid injection fix. Being a nurse, I appreciated him staying in the room to be sure that I did not have any type of reaction. I highly recommend and will call them again if needed.

My words cannot truly express the gratitude I have for Dr. Iyengar. I work as a Farrier (horseshoer), and therefore spend a lot of time in barns and around horses. In April 2017, I had an accident on the job that I thought was really going to change my life.. A "Tack Hook", is a large hook, common in barns. It is a large, treble style hook made of 1/4"-1/2" rounded steel. They are used to hang bridle and reins from. In the course of walking back and forth from the horse I was working on and the anvil, I managed to walk into a tack hook. The hook snagged me under my left eyelid and my forward momentum caused the hook to tear my eyelid almost completely off, and sever my tear duct. I made it to the ER around 6pm. At 8am the following morning, Dr. Iyengar was performing surgery on my eyelid and tear duct. He introduced himself before surgery and explained the severity of my injury and what his game plan was for repairing it was. After surgery, and throughout the healing process, Dr. Iyengar made himself extrememly available to me and really made me feel taken care of. I never had any issue getting in communication with him. It is now December 2017, and my eyelid and tear duct have healed completely. My eyelid lifts and closes and my tear duct is functioning as it should. I also feel like my field of view and peripheral vision is just as it was. I would have been happy just to have everything re-attached. I was expecting obvious scaring, drooping, watery, etc.. but it looks just as it did before the injury. I truly believe that if it weren't for the skill of Dr. Iyengar, I would not be able to continue to make a living as farrier, welder, fabricator.. or get a date.
