I recently came in for a minor eyelid procedure. Dr. Iyengar and his team were extremely professional and efficient. The entire process was pleasant from the time I walked in the door. I did not have to wait when I arrived. Dr. Iyengar made sure I was comfortable during and after the procedure, and the team promptly followed up via phone call to ensure all was well. I'd like to thank the team for making this process seamless.

I'm 72, and with the sagging skin of my upper eyelids I knew I wanted to have a blepharoplasty. For one thing, I was noticing in photos of me smiling, one eye (which has always been smaller than the other) looked completely closed, so I looked cockeyed or drunk or worse! This could not stand! So...I did a lot of research and decided to go with San Diego Eyelid Specialists and Dr. Iyengar rather than a plastic surgeon who does other surgeries too. I wanted mine done by an licensed Ophthalmologist who specializes in this particular surgery. I am SO glad I did, the results are everything I hoped for. Subtle enough that to others I just look "less tired" but to me the difference is dramatic, especially when I look at myself in the mirror first thing every morning and I look all bright-eyed and--yes, YOUNGER. Plus the difference between my left and right eye is less obvious. The actual surgery was not too painful. The most pain I felt was on the drive home, but then after that it was negligible and within 2 weeks I was able to wear eye makeup. Dr. Iyengar and his staff are wonderful. It's expensive but worth it. Do it if you can afford to. I'm lucky I could.

Attention to detail! Dr. Iyengar is a master at eyes! He is also very reassuring, kind, and caring. His office staff is wonderful.

Dr. Iyengar performed eye surgery to remove the bags under my eyes a week ago. He did a beautiful job and the bags are gone! Still have some bruises under the eyes that will eventually go away. I had general anesthesia for the operation and experienced no pain or real discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Iyengar and San Diego Eyelid Specialists!

I am so happy with my ptosis results with Dr. Iyengar! I only needed 1 eye done and he was able to match it perfectly with my other eye. I highly recommend his skills.

For years I avoided pictures because the drooping in my left eyelid was so obvious. I was happiest posing for pics with my sunglasses ON! 😎 I was referred to Dr Iyengar by my optometrist. I learned the decades of wearing contact lenses helped create my eyelid ptosis. The surgery was super quick and easy, and within days I had symmetrical eyelids. Now I take pics without my sunglasses!
