After my Scripps doctor recommended upper and lower eyelid surgery, I spent several days researching blepharoplasty procedures and consulting with Oculoplastic surgeons across San Diego. I booked a consultation with Dr Iyengar and SD Eyelid Specialists, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked into his office, I was impressed by the professionalism of Dr Iyengar and his entire team. I felt confident moving forward with the surgery. The procedure itself was a breeze, everyone at the surgery center was very nice and accommodating. The recovery was surprisingly smooth and virtually painless. Everyone at SD Eyelid Specialists made the entire process feel seamless. The results speak for themselves-my friends and family are amazed, and no one is telling me I look tired anymore. My confidence has soared, and I couldn't be happier with the results. What truly sets Dr Iyengar apart is his technique. Unlike my surgeon at Scripps, he opted to make the incision inside my lower eyelid, avoiding any visible scarring and minimizing potential complications. Dr. Iyengar is hands down the best eyelid surgeon ever! I had an upper blepharoplasty mid-January. The actual procedure was very smooth, fast, and efficient. It was done with only local anesthesia, and I was in and out of the office within an hour. No pain at all during the procedure. I had minimal bruising and swelling which was completely gone within two weeks. The healing was easy, and scars continue to improve daily. I can't recommend Dr. Iyengar enough! I did my research in finding the best surgeon out there and I wasn't disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go to the best! Thank you, Dr. Iyengar, my eyes look fabulous!

I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my right lower eyelid. They had to take out the infection which left a large hole. Dr. Iyengar did a wonderful job repairing the eyelid. You would never know that I had surgery in this area.

I couldn’t be happier with the results of my upper bleph. Dr I and his staff took amazing care of me and were kind and responsive during the healing process. The incision is PERFECTLY placed in my crease. I’m so incredibly happy with the results.

Basal cell removed left upper cheek and eye with Mohs. Went to Dr Iyengar for closure graft reconstruction. He excised graft from upper left eyelid & grafted to defect. He did a wonderful job. I recommend him for any eyelid procedure. He does great work.

I was referred to Dr. Iyengar for a small growth on my lower eyelid. He took a biopsy and it turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. I was then scheduled for MOHS with my regular dermatologist followed by reconstruction surgery with Dr. Iyengar the next day. I was impressed with the results and my care. His staff was helpful and pleasant. The surgery center was fantastic and everyone was professional and made sure I understood the procedure and did their best to put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Iyengar and his staff.

There is no better surgeon than Dr Iyengar. It was worth my commute from Orange County California to his office in Encinitas to ensure I would have the most natural appearance after upper & lower bleph. I would only trust my eyes with a top notch doctor and that’s exactly what Dr Iyengar is - the best. He is an honest, highly skilled, no nonsense surgeon who is kind. After only 6-1/2 weeks, I’m completely healed and ecstatic with the results. Before and after attached. Rested, natural and younger looking. Mission accomplished thanks to Dr Iyengar!
